The institutions containing them are elaborate, patient, and certain they know what is best for humanity.
Udo Ludis “The Hook” Yukishima is an unkillable player, but his power is also a curse which feeds his survivor’s guilt. Ludis services his life sentence with Des Cartes by escorting newly-manifested children to the only school for shadowplayers: Strixhollow Institute of Natural Studies.
